Friday, November 19, 2004 ::: not in a particularly good mood I was mad at the dentist but then I was mad at myself too I was actually feeling sorry for my teeth the damage was irreversible, and although it's not as bad as it sounds it's almost like a dead certificate for one of my tooth. amalgam-ing a tooth is not particularly nice, especially when you know that tooth is irreplaceable. now that's a little bit of affection to my body part that came too late i was so filled with anguish when the dentist talked to me in that 'see I told you so' tune and explained to me he told me there was a tiny hole few years ago but then he told me not to worry about it and that I should have all my wisdom teeth pulled first. ok, now i have all my wisdom teeth pulled, and now he's telling me it's MY fault for not visiting him, and the hole's now D&E ("deep and extensive". after writing that down he decided he should add 'very very very' before D&E. so that's v.v.v.D&E) and he's saying all this almost with a smirk on his face... it's like a plan of his own and I was the perfect prey and I hate this hate this hate this and he just kept going isn't it the doctor's/ dentist's job to reassure patients instead of threatening them? I was sent home with a 'treatment plan' (with a HUGE budget attached too) and a lot of threats - I might actually lose the tooth! dammit! back to CU a bun, a cup of hot ovaltine, and a short nap - then the lecturer said the class was over, thank you for coming, took the role call, and I hopped on the schoolbus. fest walk was suddenly so alien to me a christmas tree with a red ribbon top it isn't as glamorous, but it's much more normal than a swarovski tree I think got myself an esprit shirt and pants hey, esprit is actually some kind of a 'designers' brand in France! I couldn't help but laugh when I saw esprit in printemp in Paris, together with other designer's brands like Armani and Gucci and LV. Definitely one of the funniest sight in europe. can you keep up? make me lose my breath well, i'm almost losing mine... keeping up with the notes. ::: posted by Wings at 11/19/2004 06:59:00 AM
